A cool climate red wine which has been made at the Estate for 15 years. Extended cold soak, fermentation and maceration followed by eighteen months cask maturation in old and new French oak barriques has produced a wine of balance and structure. Bailiwick develops well with careful cellaring becoming more complex and expressive over time.
April 2019 (Cellared in casks for two years)
“Although currently young, this wine will continue to develop in bottle.”
Black cherry, raspberry, leather integrated with spiced oak character.
