At La Mare Wine Estate, we are proud to welcome you to our vineyards, orchards, meadow and gardens, where nature, community, and tradition come together. We are committed to sustainability and responsible tourism, and we invite our guests and business partners to join us in making every visit a positive experience for people and the planet.
Together, we can preserve the beauty of Jersey for future generations.
Before You Arrive
Choose Sustainable Transport
We encourage guests to travel responsibly wherever possible.
The No. 5 and No. 7 bus routes stop directly outside our gates.
EV charging points are available on site for electric vehicles on request.
Parking is complimentary however where possible we ask you to consider car-sharing, taxi pooling, or cycling (bike stands are provided).
Please drive slowly and respectfully through Jersey’s green lanes.
Accessibility
La Mare welcomes visitors of all abilities.
Step-free access is available to all key areas of the estate via ramps.
An on-site wheelchair is available for use if required.
If you or your guests have specific access needs, please let us know in advance so we can support you.
During Your Visit
Digital-First Meetings & Events
To reduce waste, we encourage the use of digital materials.
The Winery and Garden Room meeting spaces are equipped with high-speed WiFi, a large-screen monitor, and a 4K videoconference camera system with beamforming microphones for crystal-clear audio.
Presentations can be shared directly on screen (HDMI/USB included).
Whiteboards are available as a sustainable alternative to flipcharts.
Energy & Water
We’re mindful of our resource use, and ask you to be too.
All our lighting is low-energy LED and sensor-activated.
Toilets are flushed with grey water harvested from rain.
Please let us know if you notice any issues so we can act quickly.
Food & Drink
La Mare takes pride in offering seasonal, local menus that highlight the best of Jersey’s produce, from seafood to Jersey Royals, dairy and free-range eggs.
Please help us by minimising food waste during your event.
Bring a reusable water bottle, we’ll happily refill it with filtered water.
Sustainable Choices
If you are giving delegate gifts, please consider sustainable and locally sourced options, our La Mare products make excellent choices.
We kindly ask you to respect our natural environment: stay on paths, avoid picking plants, and be mindful of wildlife.
Community & Culture
We are part of a wider community, and we ask you to help us protect it.
Please drive carefully on approach, keeping noise and traffic disruption to a minimum.
Take time to discover the rich heritage of Jersey: our cider-making traditions, links with the National Trust for Jersey, and the island’s unique landscape.
Consider booking an additional estate tour or experience to deepen your connection with our cultural heritage.
