Accessibility For All
Jersey’s only vineyard can be found near the north coast of the island, in the parish of St Mary. We’ve been welcoming and inspiring visitors to La Mare Wine Estate for more than 20 years, increasing our offering of Genuine Jersey and handmade products that can be found here in our gift shop, and also in our Maison de Jersey store in St Helier or online.
Whether you take a tour, visit our shop or restaurant, or enjoy an event or tasting here, we guarantee a sensational experience.
We are fully accessible for wheelchair users and will try our best to cater for visitors with other specific access requirements.
You can see more details in the Visit Jersey Guide here.
The main entrance has level access.
There is a ramp from the main entrance into the cafe, with level access from the cafe into the toilets, event spaces and around the distillery.
There are no steps around the estate, with a combination of well-kept grass and gravel terrain.
There is a step-free route to and from the carpark.
Toilets and Changing
We have disabled toilet and baby changing access/facilities.
We love to meet your friendly dogs on a lead in our outdoor seated areas, and guide dogs are, of course, welcomed throughout.
Public Transport Accessibility
We are ideally located on Libertybus routes 5 and 7. The estate is only a couple of minutes’ walk from the bus stop, which also has level access, down a green lane which is limited to 15mph.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you require any further information about specific access or need advice on planning your visit.
