Mr Crowley picked up the award last week at the Institute’s annual awards ceremony, hosted by BBC business correspondent Joe Lynam at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Central London.
The event brought together finalists from the regional heats held across the UK, in categories ranging from early stage start-ups to large international companies.
Speaking at the awards ceremony IoD Director General Stephen Martin said that the awards seek to shine a light on directors who have enhanced and driven their businesses forward and the one thing that all the contenders had in common was leadership, expertise and personal dedication.
Mr Crowley who has led the team at the St Mary Wine Estate and Distillery for the past two decades, has been successfully developing the La Mare brand both on and off island. He also sits as a Non-Executive Director on the board of Visit Jersey.
Delighted to have received the accolade, Tim said: “I was really proud to win the Jersey Director of the Year Award back in April but to have been recognised at national level is a real honour for me personally and for our fantastic team. It’s also great news for Jersey.”
