Joining us in March 2020 from the UK, Tom brings a wealth of experience with him, having spent time working at wineries in California, Oregon and England. Since moving to Jersey, his favourite thing to do is trudge through the sand dunes listening to his favourite podcast. He is also loving all of the fresh local seafood!
A fun fact about Tom is that he ran his first (and last) marathon in 2014, Marathon du Medoc. Unlike a traditional marathon, this included drinking 31 glasses of wine en route! Somehow he finished still standing and instead of running marathons, he now runs our winery at distillery at the estate. He is currently enjoying getting to grips with Brandy distillation for the first time, which he is loving. He is also looking forward to experiencing Jersey in all its glory, as since arriving he’s only been able to experience it through lockdowns and restrictions. Fingers crossed it won’t be too much longer!
