First an Introduction

Your workshop starts with a Gin & Tonic and an introduction to our talented distiller, Dan de Carteret. Enjoy Dan’s lesson on the vibrant, sometimes dangerous, history of gin and what makes it such a popular choice today. Now, if you’ve finished your G&T, let’s move on.

Then The Distillery...

A guided tour of the distillery will bring you up to speed on how gin gets its unique flavours. Here, Dan will explain the different parts of the process and why making gin is basically as easy as making tea … not really.

Test your tastebuds

With this tutored tasting (and sniffing!), you’ll try some of the best gins from around the world. This is when you learn the flavour profiles of the different botanicals and which flavours delight you the most.

Gin and win...

Now that you know what you like in a blend and the impact of the botanicals, we’ll give you the chance to distil your own deliciously drinkable 35cl bottle of gin to take home. Competitive types rejoice, Distiller Dan will then rate your gin cocktail making skills as you finish the night on a sweeter note!

Duration is 2hrs, £70 per person, £350 minimum
