Vineyards & Winery

La Mare has over twenty acres of vineyards, with the major varieties being Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir, Huxelrebe and Schönburger.

The vines are trained to the Geneva Double Curtain, Double Guyot or Scott-Henry systems.

Our New Zealand trained winemaker Daniel de Carteret, is actively developing the range at La Mare with new vineyards planted over the past few years, and more new plantings to come, it is an exciting area to watch.
